Arizona Copper Art Museum - Clarkdale, AZ
Come see "What Arizona is famous for."
The Arizona Copper Art Museum is Arizona's newest Art Museum. Opened in December 2013, the museum features an absolutely amazing collection of over 5,000 copper artworks form the 1500's to present day, with an emphasis on American and Western European works-of-art.
You'll see a brand new museum of 9,000 square feet with fresh ideas and you'll wonder why this museum isn't in a major city. The museum dovetails perfectly with Arizona by telling the copper story of our state, and the famous towns of Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Jerome, where copper was king. The museum shows just "what happened to the 125 billion pounds of copper" Arizona has produced, in six distinctly different displays: Information, Military Art, Art and Architecture, Religious Art, Cooking, Drinking, and a Winery and Distillery room.
In Arizona - the "Copper State" - don't miss the Arizona Copper Art Museum. It would be like missing the entire state. We showcase Arizona's Greatest Treasure and are the only museum of its kind in the USA!
