Coyote Trails Golf Course

Community or County Park
Mingus Mountain as seen from the 9th Tee – Lisa White

Coyote Trails Golf Course is nestled into the natural arroyos of Mescal Gulch offering an abundance of wildlife viewing opportunities while enjoying a round of golf played in a beautiful natural setting.

The property, once part of one of Arizona's oldest ranching family, is rich with large Cottonwood trees, pines, mesquite, and oaks - providing a beautiful green setting, and a home to many animals large and small. Don't be surprised to see a large Blue Heron coming in for a landing at the small reed filled pond, or a Road Runner making it's way across the fairway with lunch in it's mouth. Everything from Coyote and Quail to Havalina and our resident Bobcat family make Coyote Trails their home.

Mingus Mountain provides our westerly backdrop, and all of the land rolls away from Mingus. To the north is the Red Rocks Secret Mountain Wilderness, where the edge of the Colorado Plateau meets the Mogollon Rim with spectacular cliffs and dynamic canyons from Sycamore Canyon to Oak Creek Canyon. To the east lies the red rocks of Sedona. All of it is a stunning view late in the afternoon!

Locals and visitors from around the globe visit us at Coyote Trails!
