School of the Arts
The School of the Arts at Sedona Arts Center is one of the oldest and most established creative programs in Northern Arizona. The year-round opportunities include instruction in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, photography, writing and more. The school at Sedona Arts Center hosts over 200 diverse classes led by exceptional instructors, unique workshops with nationally-known artists, and field expeditions to exotic locales near and far.
Sedona residents and visitors look to Sedona Arts Center to discover an ongoing involvement in the arts. The School of the Arts programming is designed for all aspiring creative people—of all ages and abilities—to provide platforms for personal development.
For over 50 years, the Sedona Arts Center has been nurturing ideas, new artistic collaborations, and unbridled creativity. Visitors to our town can join in this cultural heritage and participate in unique art workshops and intensive instruction designed to ignite the creative spark.
Fine Art Gallery
The Fine Art gallery at Sedona Arts Center is a secret no more. Both residents and savvy visitors know that this Uptown location is the place to discover and buy original works by over 110 local member artists. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the gallery offers one-of-a-kind paintings, exquisite hand-made jewelry, stunning photography, textile art, and sculpture from throughout the region.
Free and open to the public, the gallery also offers opening receptions on the first Friday of each month, from 5 to 8 p.m., as a way to meet local artists, collectors, and creative people. Once a quiet corner on the road to Oak Creek Canyon, the Sedona Arts Center Gallery is now the heart of the creative community and a showcase of local culture.
Take Part in Events
The Sedona Arts Center presents several events each year that brings visitors and the local community together. Sedona Plein Air Festival (October) and Loving Bowls (December) are signature events you won’t want to miss. Visitors plan their vacations around them! All events are dedicated to discovery, learning and sharing through the arts.
Exhibit Your Artwork
Our Fine Art and Special Exhibition galleries showcase a large selection of works by member artists. Exhibits featuring selected artists change monthly, with opening receptions on the First Friday of each month.
