Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is truly the "Art and Soul" of Sedona. The complex was built in the 1970's but it looks as if it has been here for centuries. The complex which houses 45 shops and galleries is modeled after Tlaquepaque outside Guadalajara.
The unique complex is not only a shopping destination of handmade, one of a kind items..but it is a great place to meet working artists on site. The environment here stimulates all senses as they usually have music in the courtyards and if not sit down and enjoy the sounds of the fountains Early in the mornings as you peruse the shops, the flavors from the Mexican restaurant float through the complex.
There truly is something for everyone one here young and old. It is a destination that has several events throughout the year and hosts a Farmer's market in the summers.
This is a must see destination.
